CHRISTIAN LIBERTY ACADEMY

Who We Are

Welcome to Christian Liberty Academy.  We are a Christian Independent Study Program, filing a private school affidavit with the California State Department of Education.  We accept students in grades 1-12.  The requirements for students in grades 1-8 are slightly different than for high school students.  To learn more about the enrollment paperwork and requirements, click on the tab to the left titled ENROLLMENT and the tab titled REQUIREMENTS.

Supporting Programs

To read about other programs offered in conjunction with Christian Liberty Academy, click on the button on the left for the program you wish to learn about.  There are several choirs offered focusing on higher level music training, group piano lessons, and both PE classes and sports teams in the athletics area.  These programs do not require you to be a member of CLA, and some do not require you to be home schooled.  Click on the links to the left to read more about those programs.

Our Purpose

Christian Liberty Academy was established to help families who have chosen to home school their children with the administrative requirements.  We will keep your home schooling records for your child's education from grade 1-12, file the private school affidavit with the state of California for all of our students, make report cards available through the website, issue a diploma upon graduation, and issue transcripts after graduation.  We will provide a "shield" for your home school, and assist you in understanding and completing the requirements for your curriculum in each year or stage of schooling.

We do not require regular meetings or training sessions.  We will not burden your family with additional requirements not dictated by the state educational code, but will assist you in meeting the state requirements for establishing a legitimate private, independent study program for your children.

Our Philosophy

We believe, in keeping with Biblical standards, that it is a parents right and responsibility to train and educate their children.  We support each families role in educating and training their children.  We will also act as a "clearing house" of information for other opportunities available to your children for classes, instructors, extra-curricular activities in music, drama, sports, and other pursuits.
